My Story

Tim is a proud husband and father from Chelsea, Michigan.  He is married to his wife Samantha and together they have two daughters, Adeline and Raegan.  Tim is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Professional.  After defying the odds and persevering through a severe auto-accident, Tim became more determined than ever to become a Peak-Performance Coach, working with the general public, sports teams, mental health facilities, first responders and rehabilitation centers teaching individuals how to use low-cost and accessible resources to optimize their performance.  Tim has trained thousands of individuals in mental health (growth mindset), breathwork, cold-exposure, and heat-exposure.  He has worked with top tier athletic programs such as University of Houston, University of Michigan, University of Detroit Mercy, and Northern Michigan University among others.  Tim is a published research scientist, recently co-authoring a paper with Wayne State Universities Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience department regarding the mental and physical benefits of mindset, meditation, breathwork and cold-water immersion.  He also works as a Licensed Professional Counselor, owning and operating a private counseling practice.  Tim has a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Detroit Mercy where he served as a Graduate Assistant for the Basketball Program, and a bachelor's degree in Outdoor Recreation & Leadership Management from Northern Michigan University.  Tim loves working in the field of mental health and athletics, and loves to spend time outdoors swimming, hiking, kayaking and cross-country skiing, especially with family.
