Wim Hof Method Winter Workshop
Wear comfortable warm clothes. Bring a water bottle, yoga mat, notebook, swimsuit, towel and flip-flops. There will be breath-work, natural cold exposure in Johnson Lake, access to a sauna and a potluck style meal after the workshop starting at 5pm. Bring a dish to pass around.

About the event
Join us in learning and practicing the Wim Hof Method with a Certified Wim Hof Method Instructor. We will cover the three pillars of the method (Mindset, Breathing Exercise, Cold Exposure) and learn how we can optimize our health using simple and powerful tools.
Workshops are limited to 25 participants, which allows for an intimate quality with personalized instruction. The program starts with an introduction to the method followed by breathing protocols and breath work. After a short break, we reconvene and start our cold exposure training ending in an ice bath. There is time for discussion / Q & A afterward with the instructor.
Certified Wim Hof Method Instructor, Tim Mann, is also a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings a unique skill set to these workshops. It is vital to understand that Tim is not offering these workshops as a Mental Health Professional, but rather as a Peak-Performance Coach. If you suffer from mental illness and are looking to alleviate symptoms through utilizing the Wim Hof Method, Tim recommends consulting with your primary care physician or therapist.
If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled steady rhythm and embrace the cold. This changes your nervous systems reaction to the cold (stress) and carries over into the way we handle stress in other situations.
This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.
